Civil Engineering and Construction Management FdSc
Overview
FdSc Civil Engineering and Construction Management is a practical, industry-led course. It's suitable for both civil engineering and construction industry professionals and new students interested in building construction and civil engineering. Choose between civil engineering or construction management routes and, upon successful completion, progress to obtain a BSc degree in either field.

Entry Requirements
- Academic requirements:
- 72 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator, including:
- A Levels in at least two subjects
- BTEC Extended Diploma – MMP
- BTEC Diploma – DM
- Access to HE Diploma
- T Levels
- International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level
- 72 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator, including:
- International Qualifications:
- We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.
- English Language requirements:
- IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).

How you'll learn
- Guided independent study:
- This is a practical course for a practical profession, so if you're on the full-time course you'll have regular construction site visits to put the theory you learn into practice.

- As well as lab-based, practical work, you'll learn through formal lectures, tutorials and workshops, including talks from leading companies and industrialists in civil engineering and construction.
- Dedicated personal tutor:
