What our students and staff say

  • "I had an amazing three years. The support from lecturers is really helpful and encouraging. Classes are generally small so lecturers and seminar leaders are always happy to give feedback. I loved the course and covered some very interesting topics, many of which have helped me land the job I have today." - Sonji Isaac, BA (Hons) Tourism Management
  • "What motivates and inspires me is helping to provide opportunities for students from a range of backgrounds. I was from a working-class town, and nobody expected me to go into further education. However, I was given an opportunity to study at a widening participation university and I fell in love with my subject area and eventually went on to do my PhD." - Dr. Michael Palkowski, Senior lecturer, sustainable tourism and development
