Please note: Foundation years can only be studied full-time. However, you can transfer to part-time delivery once you have completed your foundation year. Please apply to the full-time option if you wish to study in this way.
Marketing BSc (Hons)

This degree in marketing prepares you for a professional marketing career path in marketing management.
You'll look at key subjects in marketing like economics, accounting, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, social media marketing, brand management and corporate social responsibility. The marketing programme adopts a unique 'practice-based' perspective on the topic, focusing on applying theory to everyday marketing activities. It will prepare you for a marketing career with a strong emphasis on employability, enabling you to secure marketing graduate jobs and succeed in the London marketing field.
Entry Requirements
Academic requirements
- 112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS
tariff calculator, including:
- A Levels in at least two subjects
- BTEC Extended Diploma – DMM
- BTEC Diploma – DD
- Access to HE Diploma
- T Levels
- International Baccalaureate – 24 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level
International Qualifications
We accept a wide range of European and international qualifications in addition to A-levels, the International Baccalaureate and BTEC qualifications.
English Language requirements
- IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking (or recognised equivalent).

How you'll learn
You will be taught through theoretical lectures in an interactive and engaging classroom. There will be assessments which focus on the application of concepts to real-life professional marketing scenarios.
How you'll be assessed
You are assessed using a variety of assessment methods. We use traditional exams, essays and reports to assess academic knowledge. We develop your presentation skills and use assessed presentations on many of the marketing modules, as these best simulate the professional working environment for marketing.
Campus and facilities
University Square Stratford is one of London's most modern and well-equipped campuses. It serves 3,400 students and is the base for our courses in law and criminology, dance and performing arts, and the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Modern facilities include: performing arts spaces; three performance studios; the Harvard lecture theatre, with live lecture capture technology; the multimedia Weston Learning Centre; a dedicated MBA suite and teaching space; a 300-seat specialised tiered lecture; and a simulated courtroom for mooting experience.
The campus is close to Stratford developments such as Westfield Stratford City and the Theatre Royal. You can be in Canary Wharf in 20 minutes, the English National Ballet in 15 minutes and Sadler's Wells East in 8 minutes.
