Pharmaceutical Science BSc (Hons)
Overview
Pharmaceutical science is the study of the formulation, development and manufacture of new drugs. Pharmaceutical scientists have the power to transform patients' lives by developing new treatments for diseases. It looks at how different drugs act on the human body and how their healing effects can be safely used.

- 112 UCAS points from an equivalent Level 3 qualification listed on the UCAS tariff calculator, including:
- A Levels in at least two subjects including Grade B in Biology or Chemistry
- BTEC Extended Diploma – DDM in Applied science or relevant (science based) subject
- BTEC Diploma – DD, at least Merit in relevant subjects
- Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject
- T Levels in a relevant subject
- International Baccalaureate – 25 points including a minimum of 15 points at Higher Level, including Higher Level Grade 4 in Biology or Chemistry

How You'll Learn
- Guided independent study: When not attending timetabled lectures or workshops as part of your BSc Pharmaceutical Science, you will be expected to continue learning independently through self-study.
