Program Overview
BSc (Hons) Construction Design Manager*
Overview
This degree apprenticeship is delivered via BSc (Hons) Architectural Design Technology (accredited by the Chartered Institute for Architectural Technology) and takes a hands-on approach to architectural design, and apprentices will work on real-life design projects.
There is a strong focus on technical studies as well as computer software for CAD, and building design and energy performance simulations (Micro Station, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and Design Builder). We have world-class workshops, including provision for digital and robotic manufacture.
Our Architectural Design Technology course provides a comprehensive understanding of architecture as well as building engineering, building technology and construction management. The construction management elements of the course incorporate a technical focus. This allows apprentices to carry out management roles within multidisciplinary consultancies and practices.
