Non-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) PGCE

Overview

The PGCE Non-QTS is usually undertaken by those who are in training towards QTS or have already obtained QTS through alternative routes. Many of our current PGCE Non-QTS are also completing their Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeship (PGTA) or Schools Direct Salaried (SDS) programmes through UEL or an external provider. The PGCE Non-QTS is suitable for applicants in a primary or secondary school setting.
