Program Overview
Explore Learning Responses within the PSIRF Masterclass
Overview
This one-day masterclass will provide participants with an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and behaviours that are necessary to respond to a patient safety incident using a systems-based learning response (e.g., after-action reviews, debriefing). This will include discussion around improvement planning and monitoring.
The Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) takes a very different approach to what has gone before in terms of how organisations approach and learn from patient safety incidents, allowing organisations to examine incidents openly without fear of inappropriate sanction, and supporting those affected alongside improving services.
