MSc Tourism Scheme Top-Up (DL) MSc
Overview
The MSc Tourism Scheme (Top-Up) will enable students to undertake a 60-credit research dissertation through independent directed learning. Students will have the option to select from four distinct routes: Tourism and Hospitality, Tourism and Events, Tourism and Aviation, or Sustainable Tourism. Research topics may include airline management, event planning strategies, hospitality trends, and developing sustainable approaches to tourism development.
This master's course stands out due to its exclusive focus on the research dissertation, which enables critical thinking and allows for industry-relevant contributions. Through this applied research approach, students will enhance their analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling them to provide meaningful insights in the fields of tourism, hospitality, events, aviation, and/or sustainable tourism.

Course structure
Teaching and learning methods include online tutorials and one-to-one supervision. Assessment is conducted through a dissertation module, during which you will work under the guidance of an academic supervisor.

This course is a 60 credit research dissertation only, depending on the route taken this will be:

- MSc Tourism and Aviation (CHTM40) Tourism and Aviation Major Project
