Advanced Enterprise Leadership
Overview
This short course empowers middle and senior-level enterprise leaders with the advanced tools and strategies needed to excel in today's dynamic business environment. Participants will be able to confidently navigate complex business challenges, drive innovation, and ensure long-term organisational resilience.
It also leverages the latest research insights, equipping you with innovative strategies rooted in real-world success, empowering you to drive meaningful organisational change.
The course is designed for professionals from diverse backgrounds in business and enterprise contexts and aimed at, but not exclusive to, senior-level managers, entrepreneurs, business owners, project leaders, team leads, and business consultants.

Course structure
The course consists of 21 contact hours, delivered in three weekly sessions, each focusing on one of the following core areas of advanced enterprise leadership. Each session will last seven hours 9am to 4pm (including breaks).
Course content includes Strategic Foresight for Enterprise Leadership, Business Continuity in Enterprise Leadership, and Leading Innovation for Sustainable Change.
Each session adopts a workshop style and involves group discussions, hands-on practical activities, role-playing and simulations, and case study analysis.

There are no formal entry requirements. The course is designed for mid to senior-level business professionals with relevant experience in leadership roles.
Fees and finance
The fee for this course is £300.
You may be eligible to receive this course fully funded through the UKSPF Sunderland Skills and Inclusion Programme.

Library Services
The St Peter’s Library contains over 31,000 books related to business, economics, management, human resources, marketing, strategy and tourism, with many more titles available through the inter-library loan service. We also subscribe to a comprehensive range of print and electronic journals so you can access the most reliable and up-to-date academic and industry articles.
Campus
The Sir Tom Cowie Campus at St Peter’s is nestled between the River Wear and the sea, just two minutes from the coast, and set in expansive green space on the banks of the river next to the historic St Peter's Church. This provides a picturesque backdrop and a great location for travelling to the beach or the city centre.
The Reg Vardy Centre is a self-contained teaching and learning facility which houses a café as well as a specially designed discussion and breakout area. The building is also home to the University’s Moot Court and features high-spec IT equipment throughout all of its lecture and seminar rooms.
