WHY TO STUDY MEDICINE AT LSMU?

Programme Structure

What you will learn each year:

• Year 1: Anatomy, Histology, Genetics, Physics, Chemistry, Lithuanian Language
• Years 2 – 3: Reproduction and Inheritance, Professional Competence, Basics of Neurosciences, Immune Response and Infection, Respiration and Circulation, Metabolism and Homeostasis, Basics of Preclinical Studies and Locomotion, Lithuanian Language
• Years 4 – 6: Clinical Modules, Clinical Medical Practice

Admission Requirements

• Entry qualification: High school / secondary education (or higher) Good results in Biology and Chemistry. In case, the above mentioned courses are not studied in high school, certification of related supplementary courses is highly recommended.
• Entrance test (Biology and Chemistry) is obligatory. It could be substituted by other medical entrance tests.
• Language requirements: English B1 level or equivalent in English is required. If you have taken an internationally recognized exam, please attach it to the application.
• Other requirements: The evaluation and recognition of qualifications is the main step of admission procedure and all applicants must pass the recognition process of their credentials. By submitting the application, applicant confirms that submitted documents are correct, truthful and complete.

Tuition Fees

• Tuition fee: €12,600 per year (Convert €12,600 / 1-3 study year, €13,100 / 4-6 study year)
• Application fee: €150 one-time (Non-refundable)
• Registration fee: €250 one-time (Non-refundable)
