Course Overview
Maintain your licence by updating your plumbing aptitude specialist skills in the servicing, testing and installation of backflow prevention devices.
This course satisfies the training requirements specified by the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) for students seeking a backflow prevention endorsement on their plumbing licence.

Entry Requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
- Selection criteria: You must hold a current Queensland Plumbing licence with a Backflow endorsement.

- Personal protective equipment:
- Protective footwear – safety toe cap and non-slip soles to AS2210
- Protective eye wear - safety glasses – Econospec S55C (clear - AS/NZ 1336 or 1337)
- Protective clothing – neat and casual clothing (in classroom), 100% cotton drill shorts and shirt for practical classes (sleeveless shirts or singlets are not permitted)
