Entry Requirements

  • Selection criteria: You will need to have completed the Introduction to Wheel-Thrown Pottery (Stoneware) before commencing this course.

Resources Required

  • You will be required to wear covered shoes in the studio at all times.
  • You will need to bring:
    • All your own clay and any specialist materials that may be specific to your research, for example: underglazes or lustres.
    • P2 dust mask
    • An old towel
    • A large sponge for cleaning wheels
    • A lidded bucket for recycling
    • A journal
    • Pen
    • Pencil
    • Plastic ruler
  • Clay is available from:
    • Oxlades Art Supplies, 192 Newell Street, West Court
    • The Potters Club, 28a Grove Street, Cairns
