In just 4 hours, you will gain the confidence and skills to create, maintain, and use your very own sourdough starter, along with a comprehensive understanding of the entire sourdough baking process.

This course doesn’t just focus on the starter - it offers a wide overview of the sourdough journey from mixing to baking. You will leave with a well-rounded foundation that empowers you to bake sourdough bread confidently at home.

  • General Sourdough Process Overview: A complete walkthrough of the main steps in sourdough baking—from mixing and fermentation to shaping and baking.
  • Troubleshooting: Tips to troubleshoot common issues like weak starters, bad odours, or unexpected results.

What to Expect

  • You will make your own sourdough starter in class and take home a jar of their initiated starter.
