Entry Requirements
- Selection criteria:
- Have a trade background with prior engineering/manufacturing experience and have access to a functioning engineering workplace with CNC equipment (lathes and mills) for structured on the job training
- Have prior engineering experience with CAD/CAM
- Provide evidence of completion of the following pre-requisite units prior to enrolling into this skill set:
- MEM07005 OR MEM07028
- MEM09002
- MEM11011
- MEM12023
- MEM12024
- MEM13015
- MEM14006
- MEM16006
- MEM18001
Resources Required
- It is recommended that you have access to a reliable internet connection to access TAFE Queensland's online learning system Connect, and a computer with up-to-date software, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- You are also required to bring a personal stationary, a calculator and it is recommended that you have a USB.
- You are responsible for meeting the minimum occupational health and safety requirements in practical classes.
