According to the Australian Government's Job Outlook service, demand for office management roles is expected to experience stable growth over the next five years. This is a very large occupation with job opportunities available across a number of industries including construction, professional services, and education and training.

Online Self-Directed Study
- All of your study will be done online, and you can work through your studies at your own pace.
- You can access your learning materials 24/7 through our online learning management system Connect.
Online Virtual Classroom Study
- You will study online, however, your classes will be delivered in real-time via a scheduled timetable.
- You will interact with your teachers and other students using programs like Zoom.
Online with On-Campus Practical Training
- You will complete the online component of your course followed up by a scheduled practical component on campus.
Costs
- Eligible apprentices and trainees that meet the Queensland state funding requirements will be charged a set fee per nominal hour.
- These fees are calculated at a regulated rate of $1.60 per nominal hour.
- Concession rates apply for students who hold a current Health Care Card or who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
- You will be required to complete the bksb to identify any Learning Support needs.
- It is recommended that you have an understanding of basic business and technology concepts, which may have been acquired through previous training, qualifications, and/or work experience in a business-related field.
Assessment Methods
- Skill and knowledge assessments are an essential step in progressing through your course.
- You may be assessed in a number of ways while you are studying at TAFE Queensland, including observation, written assessment, questioning, portfolios, work samples, third-party feedback, and through recognition of prior learning.
University Pathways
- If you want to go on to further study at university, TAFE Queensland has a pathway option to get you there.
- In many cases, completing one of our diplomas may give you a full year of credit towards a degree with one of our partner universities.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfers
