Program Overview

The MA in Hellenic Studies with concentrations in History, Archaeology and Art, Heritage Management is addressed to historians, philologists, archaeologists, teachers and educators who are working in primary or secondary education, archaeologists and historians employed in cultural and memory institutions (museums, libraries, archives, public and private institutions including culture-related ministries and local authorities in Greece and Cyprus), in the tourism industry and in sectors related to Greek civilisation.

Notes

  • Special Topics in Hellenic Studies: The course focuses on the analysis and presentation of a specific topic related to Hellenic Studies. The content of the course will be determined by the instructor in collaboration with the coordinator of the Programme.
  • A student may choose courses exclusively from one of the three (3) concentrations of the Programme, in which case he/she will receive after the completion of his/her studies a Master's degree with the concentration indicated in the degree title, or he/she may choose elective courses regardless of the concentration to which they belong, in which case the Master's degree he/she will receive will be called “Hellenic Studies (18 Months/90 ECTS, Master of Arts)”
