Studio Arts Exploration

Overview

The Studio Arts Exploration program at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) allows students to spend up to a year exploring various studio art options without impacting their time to graduation. This program is ideal for students who are interested in pursuing studio arts but are still determining which discipline best matches their interests.

Program Details

  • The School of Art offers a BFA degree in studio arts with options in ceramics, furniture design, glass, metals and jewelry design, printmaking, painting, or sculpture and expanded forms.
  • In the first year, students work closely with their academic advisor to select courses that best align with their interests.
