Entry Requirements

• Pass SPM or SPMV with at least 3 credits including Math subject credit; or
• Other qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

English Requirements

International students must have proof of good proficiency in verbal and written English. For example, International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or its equivalent. If a student does not meet this requirement, HEPS must offer English proficiency courses to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.

Program Aim

This programme aims to produce graduates, who will have the ability to write computer applications to aid day-to-day operations of organizations, maintain computing environments effectively as well as efficiently and develop automated procedures for routine organizational tasks. Our primary objective is to provide the students with an understanding of all the aspects related to technology and also help the students to learn about the new technological developments. The duration of this programme is two and a half years and it covers technology appreciation in the first year and focus on the understanding of modern computing applications in the second year.

Entry Requirements

A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum Grade C of Grade Point (GP) 2.00 in a subject and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level (or Mathematics equivalent to SPM); OR iii. A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass) and a credit in Mathematics at SPM level (or Mathematics equivalent to SPM); OR iv. Possess SKM Level 3 in a related field. (Candidates without Mathematics can be admitted subject to a thorough rigorous assessment to determine their competencies in Mathematics that are equivalent to SPM level); OR v.
