Electrician Foundation Harmonized Certificate

Overview

The Electrician Foundation Harmonized Certificate program is designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to enter the electrical trade. This program is approved by SkilledTradesBC and provides students with Level 1 technical training credit and work-based training hours toward their Interprovincial Red Seal certification.

Admission Requirements

  • C+ in English 11 or equivalent or successful English assessment
  • C+ in one of Principles of Math 11, Foundations of Math 11, Pre-Calculus 11, NIC MAT 053, NIC MAT 055; or NIC Math assessment
  • High School graduation is preferred

  • EFH - 100 Electrician Common Core-Level 1 Harmonized
  • EFH - 101 Safety, Basic Trade Tools, Fasteners and Fittings
  • EFH - 102 Electrical Codes, Plans & Specifications

Completion Requirements

  • Students must achieve a minimum C (Letter Grade Scale 2) in each course to pass the program
  • Students must pass all industry certificate courses to achieve program completion requirements
