Overview

Advance your skills and qualifications in one of the most specialized and well-paying building trades while working toward your Interprovincial Red Seal certification. Gain expertise in plumbing, steam fitting, sprinkler fitting, and gas fitting as you progress through the four levels of plumbing technical training, all aligned with the criteria set by SkilledTradesBC. Upon successful completion of all apprenticeship levels and the required industry hours, you may write the SkilledTradesBC exam to achieve your Red Seal certification.

Program Details

• Duration: Four levels of in-school training, each taking 6 to 8 weeks, plus four years (6,300 hours) of on-the-job apprenticeship training.
• Location: Comox Valley
• Delivery: In-person

Admission Requirements

1. Registered as an apprentice with SkilledTradesBC
2. Must be working for an employer with at least one qualified journeyperson.
