Overview
The Wildfire Crew Member Training program prepares students for a career as a wildland firefighter in BC. In just four weeks, students gain essential skills in wildfire preparedness, fire suppression, and entrapment avoidance, earning BC Forest Service certifications. This program equips students with the knowledge and practical experience needed for entry-level positions on wildland fire crews across the province.

Overview
If you're passionate about wildland firefighting and ready to start a rewarding career in BC, the Wildfire Crew Member Training program is designed for you. Over four weeks, you'll gain essential skills and certifications needed for a career as a wildland firefighter, including:
- Basic Fire Suppression (S100) and Wildfire Entrapment Avoidance (S185) certifications
- Helicopter safety and transport of dangerous goods
- Fire behavior, fire line communications, and power saw operations
- Heavy equipment operations
- WHIMIS, Radio Operator Certificate - Aeronautical (ROC-A), Occupational First Aid Level 1, and Introduction to Incident Command (I-100)
This program prepares students for entry-level positions on wildland fire crews, providing both the knowledge and hands-on experience to help protect communities from wildfires.

Students must complete all courses in the program with a passing grade.
