In today's digital world, coding is a fundamental skill. This course is for those eager to learn how to create a basic web page using HTML and CSS. As key languages in web design, HTML and CSS are essential and in high demand. Coding is a critical skill of the future, vital as workplaces become automated and digital technology advances.

What You'll Learn

• HTML basics, including structure, headings, lists, hyperlinks, comments, and previews
• CSS syntax, styling techniques, image optimization, color codes, fonts, text alignment, and video embedding
• Advanced techniques like nav and article tags, IDs, classes, floats, and positioning
• Practice in various contexts

• Each session starts with a live broadcast from the tutor to introduce the topic and guide you through the resources

• The tutor remains available online for real-time support, making learning effective and enjoyable
• Our blended teaching approach combines live and pre-recorded content, providing flexibility to learn at your own pace

Course Details

• Tuition fees per individual: £380* (group discounts available)
• If you're a student or staff different fees apply. Please visit our dedicated student and staff areas for specific information.
• A subsidised rate of £50 is available for Cornwall and Isles of Scilly residents through the SPF Digital Futures Cornwall project
