Course Overview

This week-long DJ/Producer experience is designed for those who have already mastered the basics (or who have graduated from the Ibiza DJ/Producer Course - Level 1 or similar). On this course, you'll gain advanced knowledge on a range of techniques such as beat matching, looping, using effects and scratching—you'll also be introduced to using analogue turntables. You will also level up your production game with sound design, sidechaining, synthesis, warping, slicing, mixing and mastering.

Modules

• DJ Skills - Level 2: Learn advanced DJing techniques such as beat matching, looping, using effects, and scratching. You'll also be introduced to using analogue turntables.
• Music Production - Level 2: Level up your production game with sound design, sidechaining, synthesis, warping, slicing, mixing and mastering.

Expert Lecturers

• Blanka Nova: A diverse singer who has performed at some of the best Ibizan venues including Pacha, Space, Amnesia, Hard Rock and Cafe del Mar.
• Javier Garcia (Grazze): A musician, producer and sound engineer/DJ who's played at some of the biggest clubs and festivals like Nikki Beach, Café Mambo, Privilege and more.
• Veve Milah: A music producer, singer-songwriter and DJ currently DJing at W Hotel in Ibiza. Since 2021 Veve has gained millions of views and streams over Spotify and Youtube.

FAQ

• Where does my course take place?: Classes take place at Ibiza Blau Music School.
• What is my timetable?: We are in the process of confirming the hours for the course, but they are likely to be from 10am - 3pm Monday to Friday. This includes an hour for lunch. Students will receive a total of 26 hours tuition per week, which includes the time spent in the classroom and the DJ experiences where you get to play out at a variety of venues.
• Do I get discounts or free entry to bars and clubs?: We'll provide access to a range of events provided by our industry partners. Details of these offers will be confirmed during the course.
• Do I get to play out as part of the course?: Students will get the opportunity to play at a variety of clubs, bars and parties during the course. Locations include:
  • Destino Pacha
  • Ibiza Rocks
  • The rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel
  • Cafe Mambo Set times and locations will be confirmed during the course and will be subject to venue availability and the instructor. Due to venue size not every student will be able to play at the same venue on the same night. Students are asked to make their own way to the venues. Please note that on some rare occasions, a gig we have arranged may be cancelled due to venue availability which is outside our control.
