Teaching & Learning

• Students will engage in a variety of sessions (up to 16 students) and seminars.
• Independent learning is encouraged, with access to resources such as:
  • Award-winning Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) with bespoke downloadable resources.
  • State-of-the-art facilities and private practice spaces across two buildings.
  • Tutorials with lecturers to help with assignments.
  • Studio Lab Time with support staff (up to five per week depending on availability).
  • Extra workshops with music industry professionals.
  • Open Mic Nights and pointblank Choir.

Assessment

• Formative exercises to provide feedback and help improve work.
• Summative assignments to assess existing knowledge and deepen learning.
• Work will be produced in varying formats, including creative projects, compositions, performances, presentations, recordings, and written work.
