pointblank LA's 12-month Music Production & Vocal Performance Diploma is an intensive, practical, and comprehensive journey into areas such as live vocal performance, studio singing, rapping, vocal production, composition, songwriting, and mixing. Developed and taught by professionals who’ve worked with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Pharrell, and Skrillex (to name just a few), this cutting-edge college-level program will teach you all you need to know about vocal technique, performance, writing, recording, and mixing in order to create your own professional-grade portfolio of tracks with stunning vocals.

• Are there any entrance requirements?
  • Required Entrance Evaluation Submission: Students seeking to enter this Diploma program above are required to complete the pointblank Diploma Program Entrance Evaluation Submission Form located here prior to signing an Enrollment Agreement.
• What equipment do I need to buy?
  • None at all! Every pointblank student has access to their own fully-equipped workstation in class and during their practical studio work outside of class time.
• When are the classes scheduled?
  • For most 10-week courses within in this program, classes meet once per week for 4 hours (with a 15-minute break included) at one of the following session times: 10:00am – 2:00pm (Morning Session), 2:30pm – 6:30pm (Afternoon Session), 7:00pm – 11:00pm (Evening Session).
• Do you provide student housing?

• I work full time. Can I enroll?
  • Yes. Classes are usually available in the evening and on weekends, and we will be happy to arrange a class schedule that works around your other professional commitments.
• I'm an international student. Can I enroll?
  • International students have different options for attending pointblank classes depending on their country of origin. These include the B2 visitor visa, the ESTA visa waiver program, and more.
• Can I study abroad in London?
  • Yes! Degree, Diploma and Certificate programs offered through pointblank’s Los Angeles School offer the flexibility to take certain equivalent core courses at our flagship London School established in 1994.
