Introduction

The MSc Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics is a postgraduate program designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of global supply chains and the skills to manage them. Programme Structure, Modules, and Specification

  • The degree is available to be studied as a full master’s degree, a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip), or a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert).
  • MSc in Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics: Eight core modules, two optional modules, and a Final Project.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management and Global Logistics: Six core modules, including 'Core Concepts of Supply Chain Management' and any other two modules (either further core or optional modules).
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Strategic Supply Chain Management: Four core modules.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Supply Chain Analytics: Four core modules.
  • Postgraduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management: Four optional modules, including at least one module from Group 1.

Admissions

Entry Requirements

  • MSc and Postgraduate Diploma: a first or second-class bachelor’s degree (or an acceptable equivalent) preferably in a quantitative subject.
  • Postgraduate Certificate: a first or second-class bachelor’s degree (or an acceptable equivalent) preferably in a quantitative subject, or two years minimum work experience in a relevant field.
  • English language requirements: IELTS, Pearson Test, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English, or TOEFL iBT.
  • Computer requirements: minimum basic computer requirements for online study.

Recognition of Prior Learning

  • If you have studied material as part of a previous qualification that is comparable in content, level, and standard to our Supply Chain Management modules, you may be exempted from the equivalent course of our degree.
  • RPL for the Final Project will not be considered.
  • To be considered for RPL, you should make a formal request within your application when applying for the program.
  • You will need to have met the entrance requirements for the program to be considered for RPL.

Fees, Funding, and Payment

Fees

  • The fees below relate to new students registering for the October 2024 and April 2025 sessions only and are effective from 1 January 2024.
  • The fee depends on two factors: whether you choose web-supported or Recognized Teaching Centre supported learning, and whether you live in a developing (Band A) or developed (Band B) nation.
  • Full MSc program fee: £7776 (Band A) or £12930 (Band B).
  • Pay per module: £710 (Band A) or £1158 (Band B) for a 15-credit module.
  • Module continuation fee: £485 per module.
  • Online examination fee: £11.

  • There may be additional sources of support depending on where you live and how you choose to study.
