Certificate in Dual Credit American History Instruction
Program Overview
Dual Credit American History Instruction Certificate
Master American history education.
If you already hold a social studies teaching license, this program will prepare you to teach college-level U.S. History survey courses in the high school setting. Our seminars will expose you to a greater depth of content than what is offered at the undergraduate level.
To be qualified to teach dual credit courses in any content area, the Higher Learning Commission also requires teachers to have a master's degree. Students may choose to complete the Master of Arts in History along with the Dual Credit Certificate.
