Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Program

Overview

The University of Indianapolis offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program designed to prepare advanced practice nurses for leadership roles in various healthcare settings.


Tracks

The MSN program offers several tracks, including:


  • MSN-AGPCNP Track
  • MSN-FNP Track
  • MSN-NE Track
  • MSN-NHSL Track
  • MSN-NNP Track

Admission Requirements

  • BSN degree from an accredited institution
  • Unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

    • Nursing Fee: $168 (Graduate nursing non-clinical students)
    • Prior to Starting Classes:
      • $66.75 Background Check

      • $47 ExamSoft*
      • Cap & Gown and nursing pin (optional; see the UIndy bookstore for pricing)

Technology Requirements

Students will be required to have technology that is compatible with the required computerized testing platform software. Please see the IT Help Page for requirements needed for Windows and MAC OS computers. Chromebooks will not meet the technology requirements for the School of Nursing.


MSN-NHSL Track

Overview

The MSN-NHSL track builds an understanding of the role of health systems in nursing so you can lead with confidence.

Track Length and Format

The MSN-NHSL track is 39 credit hours, with 240 clinical hours, and is completed on a part-time basis. It can be completed in 7 consecutive semesters. This course is 100% online.
