All courses are 4 credit hours. 16 credit hours is required to complete the program.

- IREL 552 International Political Economy

Eligibility and Admission Requirements
- College graduates who have completed their bachelor’s degree can apply to the program. The rest of the admission requirements will remain the same as for the Master of Arts in International Relations program.
- Should a student choose to continue to earn a Master’s degree in the program, the earned hours towards the certificate could roll into the required 38 (Thesis Track) or 39 (Comprehensive Track) hours.
- Students enrolled in the Master of Arts in International Relations can choose to earn a certificate instead if they are unable to finish the entire program.
- To receive a certificate, all courses must be completed with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
