Course Description
Conducting investigations is an important statutory duty of Investigators. This course will give Investigators the introductory knowledge of administrative law principles and statutory decision making, as well as, the skills required to conduct a fair and objective investigation. The investigative process is explored from collection of the facts through to analysis and documentation. Interview strategies, such as questioning techniques and verbal
on-verbal communications will be examined. In addition, learners will develop an Investigative Plan and draft an investigative report.
