Adult Probation Assessment & Planning (PO) Part 3.
Course Details
This course builds on the material learned in CORR-1074 Adult Probation Assessment & Planning (PO) Part 2 by applying the concepts and skills learned in a community office under the supervision of a senior probation officer, local manager, or designate. The learner will practice the basic skills required to supervise clients with relationship violence (K-file) offences and sexual offences (SO). The learner will also apply the community risk needs assessment tool (CRNA) and the spousal assault risk assessment (SARA) on a sentenced client. Community work service, alternative measures, and electronic supervision are also covered in this course. Focus will be placed on the application of skills learned.
