Case Management

Course Details

Case Management provides practical knowledge and skills for community youth probation officers regarding the day-to-day duties and responsibilities of managing a caseload. Specific topics include sentence intakes, community youth justice files, programs and resources, youth justice conferences, youth advocacy, and home visits. Relevant legislation and policy are emphasized with respect to the case management and service planning functions in each of these areas. This course is only available to Ministry of Children and Family Development employees, as identified in their Youth Probation Training Plan.
