Conducting Operations-Based Exercises

Course Details

Learn to apply the Conduct, Evaluation and Improvement Planning phases of the exercise cycle to an operations-based exercise. Work in small groups to troubleshoot issues that typically arise when conducting a full-scale exercise. Identify evaluation techniques used to ensure exercise objectives are achieved and explore methods for identifying and applying corrective actions. This course would be beneficial for members of the emergency management field who are designing exercises; it would also be useful for individuals working as controllers and simulators.
