CUFIC Part 2: Tactical Module

Course Details

Components of this training include:


  • Building Containment
  • High Risk Vehicle Stops
  • Active Shooter Module

Objectives:


  • For each of High Risk Vehicle Stops, Building Containment and Searching, and Immediate Rapid Deployment (IRD), the participant will:
    • Analyze training at the recruit level and discuss modifications to advance the training for in-service members.
    • Describe strategies to incorporate CID techniques throughout training.
    • Identify areas where learners are most likely to struggle with their use of force training. Develop strategies to support learners through these areas.
    • Given a set time constraint, develop a lesson plan, including assessment strategy, to teach a session at their home department.
