Course Details
Investigating cybercrime can be difficult and complex. The very devices that make it possible for us to access information, shop, watch movies, listen to music, do our banking, talk to family around the world, and a host of other things, also make it possible for criminals to take cybercrime to unprecedented levels. This course will help learners understand the differences between offline and online investigations and become familiar with the basics of how to find and, if possible, retrieve information (often hidden) on a laptop or other device. This course also covers how to collect and use open-source intelligence (OSINT) and explains the range of OSINT tools available to cybercrime investigators today.
