Emergency Management Final Assessment

Course Details

Apply the skills and knowledge acquired throughout the Emergency Management Certificate in a take-home project. This assessment provides the participants with an opportunity to synthesize their learning through the completion of an in-depth emergency management assignment or through the development of a project chosen in conjunction with the lead instructor. Instructions and guidelines will be provided on the first day of the course. Students will be asked to select a topic category and provide an outline of their project within the first two weeks of the course. NOTE: In order to register for this course, students must: 1) be in good standing in the Emergency Management Certificate Program; 2) have completed all the required and elective courses in the program; 3) have their eligibility to enroll be confirmed by the Program Manager; and 4) register for a section that starts BEFORE the completion deadline for their certificate program. Prerequisites

• EMRG-1200, EMRG-1600, EMRG-1120, EMRG-1130, EMRG-1132, EMRG-1136, EMRG-1139, EMRG-1141, EMRG-1150, EMRG-1170, EMRG-1334, and EMRG-1320, and 3 credits from EMRG-1220, EMRG-1230, EMRG-1330, EMRG-1331, EMRG-1332, EMRG-1333, EMRG-1660, EMRG-1681, or CRES-1100
