Description

Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Skills Application is a 21-hour (3 day) hands-on course which starts with participants going through an experiential review of foundational EOC knowledge, roles and responsibilities, information management, direction setting, and other core processes and practices (as previously taught in EMRG-1165 and EMRG-1166). Participants will then put this knowledge into practice through a series of coached and guided simulations and semi-functional EOC exercises where they can assume different roles and responsibilities in a safe and high-paced learning environment. Educational tours of operational emergency operation centres will also be conducted to explore further application of EOC practices and processes.
