Course Details

This hands-on, practical course provides learners with personal experience using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). Explore safety requirements involved with riding on apparatus plus operating in work areas at emergency scenes. Gain the ability to operate fire department communications equipment to relay and record information. Obtain first-hand experience setting up, using and maintaining fire fighter tools and equipment, and fighting Class A and vehicle fires.
