Family Justice Counsellor Report Writer Practicum

Course Details

This supervised practicum prepares family justice counsellors (FJC) who have been hired as report writers to write Section 211 Family Law Act (FLA), Views of the Child and Full Reports. This experiential practicum involves observation and mentorship in FJC report writer tasks, including providing information, assessment interviews, child interviews, home visits, child-parent observation, report writing, disclosure interviews, case management, and court appearances.
