The course will introduce the various components of the Canadian Justice System.


Course Goal(s)

This course will provide the candidates with the background information and history to understand the evolution of the Canadian Justice System.


Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:


  • Discuss similarities and disparities between his/her domestic justice system and the Canadian system.
  • Discuss areas of mutual aid and cooperation between the two countries.

Course Topics/Content

This course will present case studies from Canadian Justice System and provide parallels with other country's justice options.
