Course Details

Explore the basics of emergency management exercise design and learn how the field of exercise design has changed in recent years to become a key component of emergency preparedness. Review the concepts of a formal multi-year exercise program, the exercise program management team, the five-phase exercise design model, and the exercise design team. (Formerly EM150)

Course Format

• Online: This online course is self-paced. All course assessments and assignments must be completed/submitted by the end date of the course.
• In-Class: This course is conducted over one day in a classroom setting. In addition to the scheduled public offerings, this course is available to organizations on a contract basis.
