Course Details
Introduction to LNG - Marine is intended to provide practical training to mariners, who will be working on vessels fueled and operated on dual fuels (LNG & diesel). LNG possess some unique hazards as a fuel; therefore, crew must be knowledgeable in regards to safe handling and emergency response protocols for LNG incidents. The training received during this one-day course, will give participants a basic understanding of the properties of LNG, both as a flammable liquid and as a gas, as well as the cryogenic issues it presents.
