Introduction to the Criminal Justice System

Course Details

The purpose of this course is to provide participants with a basic understanding of the key components and operation of the Canadian criminal justice system. By the end of the course, participants will be able to explain the role of each key component of the criminal justice system, describe the process an adult offender moves through the criminal justice system, and how the criminal justice system provides services geared to the needs of various groups in the community.
