Course Description
This course will provide learners with knowledge of First Nations, municipal, and provincial statutes and structures. Learners will study the structure, jurisdictions, and authorities of these three levels of government. They will explore various duties and responsibilities as they relate to justice and public safety. Role-play and simulations will be used to reinforce learning in areas such as establishing command posts, search and rescue, and evacuation planning.
