Police Recruit Training Block III
Course Details
Block III is the final training block that must be completed prior to obtaining full certification as a Qualified Municipal Constable in BC. Over the course of the 8 weeks of Block III, recruits build on the foundational, tactical, legal, and physical skills they obtained in Block I, and the experience they acquired in their Block II field training. Concepts are taught in an integrated problem-based format, with recruits taking increased responsibility for their learning as they prepare to operate independently after graduation. Recruits' knowledge, skills, and abilities are assessed according to the Police Sector Council National Framework of Police Constable Competencies.
