Program Overview


Course Details

This course exposes learners to topics of critical relevance to those mediating in a child protection context. Through a variety of learning activities, learners will gain a solid understanding of the legislated mandate of child protection mediation in BC and the impact of child protection on Indigenous families. This course explores the role of child protection mediators in working with presenting dynamics such as domestic/family violence, mental health and problematic substance use, and trauma-informed practice.
