Course Details

The Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Refresher course is designed for individuals who are interested in updating their skills or preparing to write the paramedic licensing exam. The online portion of the course provides a structured opportunity for students to review the PCP program content through participation in course activities, test their medical knowledge through self-quizzes, and use the assigned course readings and resources to improve their knowledge of specific areas. In the classroom portion of the course, students will review, practice, and upgrade skills dealing with medical and trauma calls learned in the PCP program. Students will have their knowledge and skills assessed through assignments as well as written and practical exams.
