Description
This course covers a variety of the skills in the JIBC Industrial Firefighting courses and NFPA 1081 Facility Fire Brigade Member Professional Qualifications. Learners will have opportunity to practice their skills in an applied learning environment while meeting the needs of their organization's training requirements. Learners will conduct an initial scene size up, establish command, and develop an initial action plan and tactics. This practical and customized training will focus on exterior fire attack, SCBA, hose handling, and fire suppression techniques using a variety of suppression methods found in industrial settings.
