Course ID

SEVE-1121

Course Details

Conflict in Literature & Film From classic literature to blockbuster films, misunderstandings and missed connections create the pulse-pounding drama we love. By exploring your favourite examples of improbable conflict and incomplete resolution we can recognize patterns of conflict that are pervasive in professional and personal settings. We will further examine these stories using a conflict resolution analysis and see how we can attach those observations to patterns of behaviour in real life. Join us for a fun and unique opportunity to analyze and discuss your favorite examples of conflict in media and fiction. This half-day special event will include small group discussion, so bring your favourite examples of the glorification of terrible conflict resolution skills in literature and movies.
