Course Description
This course has been designed to provide community youth probation officers with specific and detailed knowledge relating to youth records, publication, and information sharing. The Youth Criminal Justice Act will be closely examined, alongside the relevant sections of Community Youth Justice Programs policy. Case studies will be utilized to enhance and challenge the student's analysis and application of this complex and technical part of the legislation. This course is only available to Ministry of Children and Family Development employees, as identified in their Youth Probation Training Plan.
